Stephanie and Guillaume were looking to buy a property back in 2014 in order to open an eco retreat. It took them a whole year to find this hidden gem : 2 hours drive from Sydney CBD, access all wheel drive and a minimum of phone reception.

Slowly but surely we went through all the hoops to get the permits to build our off grid retreat: starting with our dream home : a strawbale house, built by Viva Living Homes, the Australian experts of natural building. Followed by a worm farm septic system done by WormSmart, a full solar system (Offgrid Energy Australia), luxurious shared facilities and glamping set ups.

Our focus has always been to give a comfortable experience to our guests, especially families where they don’t have to worry about decent toilets and hot showers. This has allowed many first time campers from all horizons to try their first outdoor adventure.

We value and respect the nature, therefore are part of a program with WIRE in order to provide drinking stations for the wildlife during the drought. This has allowed us to document the various animals present on the property from Honey Eaters to Sugar Gliders.
